Carlos Lazcano, Ph.D., Director of R & D, joined J&D Produce this year as Manager of Production and Research and Development. He is a biotechnology graduate from Texas A&M University.

While there, he worked under the guidance of Dr. Leonard Pike, creator of the 1015 onion and maroon carrots. Carlos will be working in Mexico and Texas, fulfilling a career goal.
