Kale Cheddar Apple Salad

  • 1 16 oz Little Bear Bagged Kale
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese cubes
  • 1 gala apple



  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ fresh squeezed orange juice
  • ½ fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ clove of garlic (finely pressed or minced)


  1. Wash the bagged kale in a strainer and let it sit dry.
  2. Chop the cheddar cheese cubes into halves and the gala apple into bite size pieces. The apple pieces can be cut to your size preference.
  3. Before you assemble everything make your olive oil based dressing by combining all of the ingredients under “dressing” in the ingredient list.
  4. Once the dressing is finished toss the kale, cheese cubes and apples into a clean bowl. After tossing the ingredients, dress the salad with the olive oil dressing and toss again to evenly distribute the dressing.
  5. Finish off with the grated parmesan cheese to taste.
