Careful Oversight

Our in-house Horticulturist, Dr. Carlos Lazcano (Doc), oversees land selection, prep, proper crop rotation and monitoring, ready to adjust to various insect, weather, and disease factors. Doc educates our farm managers “by the book” methods to maximize yields while controlling potentially harmful circumstances that Mother Nature may throw our way.

Proprietary Products

Our HoneySweet® Onion is a single seed variety that is grown in multiple locations around the world to capture the best conditions to produce the most consistent, mild onion on the market. Our beta sweet maroon carrot was developed by Dr. Leonard Pike of Texas A&M University and contains approximately 40% more beta carotene than orange carrots along with flavonoid compounds from the antioxidant anthocyanin.

Food Safety is our top priority.

That’s why we’ve assembled a team of the best food safety experts in the region, with more than 50 years of combined food safety experience. We’re using the latest technology to drive continuous improvement. When you’re a leader, it can be easy to rest on your laurels, but that’s not our style.
